Colm Keegan is an excellent and experienced singing teacher. He is very helpful, enthusiastic, and encouraging. I noticed an improvement in my singing very early on, and still had lots of fun working with him.
Aidan Fitzpatrick, Student

I have known Colm for a number of years now; first as one of my music students in Gonzaga College and then as a colleague. I didn’t have to think twice about hiring Colm as Chorus Master for the annual Gonzaga school musical given his excellent knowledge of music theory and his practical stage experience, both of which I knew he would share with the students in a clear, patient and generous manner. I know that I can trust him to teach all the music and harmonies for the chorus & leads to the highest standard. He guides the students with an easy manner that is always encouraging. He always manages to get the best out of every cast member. As well as being a talented performer he is a natural teacher. I think anyone studying online with Colm should be assured that they will learn a lot in a very supportive, helpful, interesting and fun way. We certainly consider ourselves very lucky to have Colm in our music crew.
Aoife Dunne, Music Teacher & Director Gonzaga College SJ
My daughter is absolutely loving her first music theory class. The positive reinforcement that Colm provides is just what she needs as she comes from a very strict dance school and it is a great balance. Colm also challenges her in that if she knows about something he is teaching he takes it to the next level. Thank you! All teachers should be like Mr. Keegan
Becky, mother of CKonLine student
Once I got past the reality and disbelief that Colm Keegan – yes THAT Colm Keegan – was in my living room talking to ME – we got down to business. The first class I was partially awestruck, nervous as a cat, sweaty palms and all! It had been years since I had looked at a musical note, and I didn’t want to look too silly. But the second week, Colm graciously reviewed what we covered in the first class, and we moved forward with some newer topics. He didn’t laugh at me, nor my Mom having to say hello at the end of the session – and it felt good to bring back some of the music I so loved in church choir. I want to support Colm as he pursues this dream. I will never be a great musician, but that was not my goal – I just wanted to learn a few things, have fun, and help out a young man who will go far because he is humble, kind, and patient in addition to being an absolute rocking teacher and singer! I am thoroughly looking forward to the next classes in music and history and language. If you are wondering whether you should sign up – I say “go for it”! I don’t think you’ll regret one minute.

What an exciting new chapter in award-winning, Irish singer Colm Keegan’s extensive career to date. Undoubtedly one of the best music teachers of this era, his unending passion for music is a significant reason for his success.
A teacher turned professional singer, Colm obtained his degree in Music and Irish before having the opportunity to tour the world with two of Ireland’s most successful international music groups. Colm sat his final exam in University a week before standing on stage in Germany as part of the Aontas ensemble, the touring choir of Irish music group Celtic Woman. A year of touring the world subsequently led Colm in the direction of the infamous Irish music producer Sharon Browne, who offered Colm a principle role in Irish music group and PBS phenomenon Celtic Thunder.
While achieving international fame as a singer with Celtic Thunder fans all over the world, Colm hasn’t lost his pulse in his other passion, teaching. Colm has, whilst off tour, appeared as guest Teacher at home in Ireland with several Performing Arts Schools and Secondary Schools all over the country. He has been Assistant Musical Director in various amateur productions, from Gilbert & Sullivan’s ‘Pirates of Penzance’ to Leonard Bernstein’s ‘West Side Story’, Colm has offered younger, aspiring musicians a range of musical techniques on and off stage, which in turn helped him as a performer on some of the biggest stages in the world.
CKonLine, Colm’s latest exciting project, offers online music lessons to aspiring musicians not only from Ireland, but also from all over the world. This is a unique opportunity to work with Colm; either on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting. Grab this golden opportunity to learn music online with none other than Colm Keegan, who has taken his drive to work ethic away from the stage and into your home.
“This unique, exciting prospect bears no limits to what can be achieved. We can take people with no experience in Music theory and have them reading music and, more importantly, understanding music in just a matter of weeks. After music theory, who knows what other subjects and avenues we can explore but, what we can say for certain, with CKonLine in place, there are no limits to what we can achieve together. I hope you are as excited as I am “
